Linux drivers exist as part of the kernel for most Fibre Channel Host Bus
Adapters - QLogic 2100, QLogic 2200, LSI SYM40909, Tachyon ... I am not
sure if Tachlite is supported but supporting Tachlite using the Tachyon
driver should not be overimposing.
QLogic and LSI drivers have been written and supported by the vendors
themselves. Here at the IOL, a couple of graduate student have written
drivers for the Tachyon and QLogic Chip sets. They are available at:
http://www.iol.unh.edu/consortiums/fc/fc_linux.html
I am not sure if the Emulex chip is supported .....
Hope this helps
