I have a few more usability suggestions for the microblogging plugin.
∘ There could be an option to block/unblock (filter actually) accounts
that showup on desktop notifications. Some days I want only to read my
friends' updates and not every news channels, for example.
∘ If there is something happening and I want to stay up-to-date with
it I could have the ability to add a search input to be displayed on
notifications. Action: Summon > . > event > tab > add to twitter
search > enter. And then tweets with this term ("event") would start
to show up on notifications. Do could generate a list of search terms
that could be easily removed by an tabbed action "remove search term".
Similar to RememberTheMilk's plugin to postpone a task.
∘ This one is half way there. By Summon > Latest Tweets > right arrow
to open the list. I could access the latest updates I'm following and
do actions with them, for example openurl, reply, RT and DirectMessage
(again, similar to RememberTheMilk task handler). Right now (0.8.1) it
is a bit difficult to find the tweets, I need to write something >
Post to Twitter > select tweet to reply
See what you think about them and if they are Doable. If they are,
I'll submit blueprints through launchpad.
