Hi to the list, This is my first post, let me express my gratitude to the creator of this wonderfull software.
I have a problem with the new version, and hope someone can help me. I've installed ekiga 2.0.1 on current Debian Etch first manually installing the deb on www.ekiga.org and then (after an hint by Yannick in #ekiga) using this repository: deb http://pkg-voip.buildserver.net/debian etch main Both ways (I think the pakages being the same anyway) I get an error on ekiga startup: Error while starting the listener for SIP protocol: You will not be able to receive incoming SIP calls. plase check that no other program is already running on the posrt used by Ekiga. I have no fiwall activated but I have no pubblic ip. My isp (fastweb, an italian one) connect me to a MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) and then to internet. I've enabled the STUN in the preferences. I'm registered on ekiga.net but if I try to call [EMAIL PROTECTED] I get 2 ring and the call ends giving on the status bar: Abnormal call termination. the same if I try to call any other person. If someone tries to call me he receive a refused call while I accept the incoming call. I hear ekiga ringing and even after I've accepted the call it keeps ringing for some time.
