Perhaps you're right. ;-) My point is: people on international mailing lists, and especially native English speakers, are not entitled to complain about the quality of other people's English. First we, non-native speakers, did not *choose* the use of English to communicate on these mailing lists (at least I didn't). Secondly, although non-native speakers make significant efforts to learn English, they will hardly ever be as good as a native speaker at speaking English. Hence my dislike of such complaints.
