   Actually, some guys on the mailing list managed to typeset Chinese
   lyrics with Lilypond, so I don't think Greek would be a problem.
   Maybe the list could respond (I cc-d them)

Actually, I *do* have the thing working by now (using kdgreek.sty),
and enter my lyrics somewhat like !k'u-!2 !ri-! !e! !>e-! !l'eh-!
!son!.

The texstyle option of ly2dvi has been quite a bit of help here.  So I
don't really think the FAQ should refuse blandly to acknowledge that
there *are* ways to use TeX specifically if the need arises.
