The file `init/property.ly' documents the values 0, 1, 2 and 4 for the
property `pletvisibility'. What does the value 3 means? Shouldn't the
value 2 (effect: show number, and bracket-if-no-beam) (apparently set
by \pleton, apparently a part of \normalsize) work?
