Well that's part of the problem, i guess. Today's www.cs.uu.nl and
www.xs4all.nl sites use the syntax present in 18 (with the addition
of extenders: __). Tomorrow's may add \repeat and \alternative...
I know that pl18 had some problems with the doc in rpm, i've no
clue as to what uu1 fixes.
The only real solution will be a stable lilypond www page, and a
notification that only that page's examples are guaranteed to work.
