Hello -

I'm trying to build lilypond-1.2.17 here on my RedHat 5.2 linux box, but
I'm having trouble. I checked the FAQ, but didn't see a solution to
my problem.

The problem? Make dies with the following:

rm -f out/stem.dep; DEPENDENCIES_OUTPUT="out/stem.dep out/stem.o" c++ -c
-DHAVE_CONFIG_H  -DNPRINT -I.. -Iinclude -Iout -I../lib/include
-I../lib/out -I../flower/include -I../flower/out -I../lib/include
-I../flower/include -g     -g   -DNPRINT -I/usr/include -Wall  -W
-Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wconversion  stem.cc -o
out/stem.o
../lib/include/moment.hh: In method `double Interval_t<double>::center()':
../lib/include/moment.hh:26: Internal compiler error.
../lib/include/moment.hh:26: Please submit a full bug report to
`[EMAIL PROTECTED]'.
make[1]: *** [out/stem.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/tars/lilypond-1.2.17/lily'
make: *** [install] Error 2

I've got egcs-2.90.29, libnids 1.13, guile 1.3.2, perl 5.00503, automake
1.3, flex 2.5.4a, and bison 1.25.

When I run compile, it can't find stepmake, but doesn't give an error for
that.

I downloaded the RH5.2 RPM, but when I tried to run it after installing,
it crashed and dumped the core...

Any tips on what I'm doing wrong? Where should I look for a fix? Anyone
else have this problem?

Thanks in advance.
