I've just tried to compile .54 on my machine and I get an error which
is:
staff-symbol-referencer.cc: In function `static Real
Staff_symbol_referencer_interface::callback(const Score_element *,
Axis)':
staff-symbol-referencer.cc:101: passing `const Score_element' as `this'
argument of `void Score_element::set_elt_property(String, long int)'
discards qualifiers

make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/eenajt/lilypond-1.3.54/lily'
I'm using gcc-2.95-2, guile-1.3.4, python-1.5.2 etc.
I've tried both patching the previous version and the tar archive.
