The property has changed name, try

I don't have a running Lilypond installed here, but you
could try
[<{bf16 ( s ) bf8} {s16 df ~ d8} af'>]
the disadvantage is that you get a slur instead of a tie for the bf.
Possibly (again, I haven't tried) the following might work:
[<bf16 {s df}> ~ <bf8 d af'>]
