Yes, the latest version of g-wrap was built and installed on my 
system.  I even tried to run the command from the command line.
Same error.  I even --version so the version I installed is correct.
I don't know what else could be the problem.

You need to make sure that (1) you have 'g-wrap' installed (the
package should be available somewhere under
ftp://ftp.gnucash.org/pub/g-wrap/) (2) you have the g-wrap binary 
in your PATH.  

'g-wrap' is just a tool for building Guile interfaces to a C library.
