LANG=pt_BR /opt/gnucash-1.8/bin/gnucash
Hmmm... I just realized that the instructions on how to run the newly compiled executable are not 100% correct. If you follow the instructions that then isue the above command, the Tutorial and Concepts Guide and the Help files are not available.
What you get is a "The specified URL could not be loaded" message in the help window. This message appears as STDERR:
Error: gnc_help_window_new: Failed to open help index DB '(null)' : Invalid argument
I tried playing around with the "--share-path" and "--doc-path" CLAs, but I'm seeing this message:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] > LANG=pt_BR /opt/gnucash-1.8/bin/gnucash --share-path /opt/gnucash-1.8/share/
gnucash: [E] "non-list given for --share-path: ""/opt/gnucash-1.8/share/"
