Gnucash crashes. When I start gnucash, everything is fine, I can edit the account informations, and I can make entries in the accounts.
But when I want to open a report, gnucash fails with:
gtkhtml-ERROR **: gconf error: Failed to contact configuration server (a likely cause of this is that you have an existing configuration server (gconfd) running, but it isn't reachable from here - if you're logged in from two machines at once, you may need to enable TCP networking for ORBit)
aborting...
I have got running FreeBSD-4.8-stable with the following things installed (what the port thinks gnucash depends recursively on - sorted alphabetical with version numbers):
ORBit-0.5.17 OpenSP-1.5 XFree86-libraries-4.3.0_5 aspell-0.50.3_1 bison-1.75 bonobo-1.0.22 db3-3.3.11,1 db4-4.0.14_1,1 docbook-sk-4.1.2 docbook-xml-4.2_1 docbook-xsl-1.61.3 esound-0.2.29 expat-1.95.6_1 fontconfig-2.2.1 freetype2-2.1.4_1 g-wrap-1.3.4_3 gal-0.24 gconf-1.0.9_3 gdbm-1.8.3 gdk-pixbuf-0.22.0 gettext-0.11.5_1 ghostscript-gnu-7.07 glib-1.2.10_9 glibwww-0.2_1 gmake-3.80 gnomecanvas-0.22.0 gnomedb-0.2.96_1 gnomehier-1.0_8 gnomelibs-1.4.2_1 gnomemimedata-2.3.0 gnomeprint-0.37 gnomevfs-1.0.5_4 gnucash-1.8.4 gnucash-docs-1.8.1 gtk-1.2.10_9 gtkhtml-1.1.10 guile-1.6.4_2 guile-gtk-0.31 guppi-0.40.3_3 imake-4.3.0 imlib-1.9.14_1 intltool-0.26 jpeg-6b_1 libaudiofile-0.2.3 libcapplet-1.4.0.5 libgda-0.2.96_1 libghttp-1.0.9 libglade-0.17_2 libgnugetopt-1.2 libiconv-1.9.1_1 libltdl-1.5 libofx-0.6.4 libtool-1.3.5_1 libungif-4.1.0b1 libunicode-0.4_3 libwww-5.4.0 libxml-1.8.17_1 libxml2-2.5.7_1 libxslt-1.0.30 m4-1.4_1 oaf-0.6.10_1 p5-Date-Manip-5.40 p5-Finance-Quote-1.07 p5-Finance-QuoteHist-0.31 p5-HTML-0.6 p5-HTML-Parser-3.28 p5-HTML-TableExtract-1.08 p5-HTML-Tagset-3.03 p5-URI-1.23 p5-libwww-5.69 pkgconfig-0.15.0 png-1.2.5_2 popt-1.6.4 python-2.2.3_1 scrollkeeper-0.3.12_1,1 sdocbook-xml-4.1.2.5_1 slib-2d5_1 soup-0.7.11 tiff-3.5.7_1 unzip-5.50 xmlcatmgr-0.2_1
But I have also installed:
libgtkhtml-2.3.4 gconf2-2.3.3 ORBit2-2.7.2_2
but that shouldn't matter I think.
So what can I do to make that working?
Thanks, Martin
