I know it doesn't seem this way when the program suddenly stops working, but this is also fundamentally not a GC problem - in the sense that when a user clicks to get a quote, an external tool is used, called Finance::Quote, which grabs data from somewhere on the web (Yahoo isn't the only place that F::Q can look, although it was a very good place), processes it and feeds it back to GC.
