Possible? Anything is possible. However, knowing the community, I doubt you'll get much traction. The developer pool is shallow, unfortunately.
Given the fact that a spreadsheet is a much better tool for the kind of manipulations I imagine you're seeking, the devs are going to focus on bigger core issues. Of course, this is just my opinion. Would it be possible for a gnucash developer to add this report into the software, could I commission a developer to add this report in (or would it be too expensive), or is it not the type of report that could be added in? And once your data are in a spreadsheet, you can run all sorts of sophisticated functions on it. ;) David On Jun 3, 2018, at 10:07 AM, Adrien Monteleone <adrien.montele...@lusfiber.net> wrote: John, I’ll have to interpret a bit, but my guess is you want a report that shows multiple months worth of P&L data, consolidated with each month in it’s own column. (and maybe even a YTD or QTD column at the end) There is no such report. You can run a multi-column report and put each column as a different month’s P&L, but that will repeat the account name header column. More than likely, you’ll need to either export and import, or copy/paste individual months into a spreadsheet and work from there. (a simple select-all, copy/paste is usually sufficient) Regards, Adrien On Jun 2, 2018, at 10:51 AM, John <j...@newzpoint.com> wrote: Hi. I have been looking through the report options and help files and I am unable to work out how to create a month by month profit and loss spreadsheet. Is this possible? and if so, do I need to download and install a plugin of some kind.
