It is hidden -- you wont see the account listed in the Chart of Accounts. Youre hiding the ACCOUNT, you're not hiding the transactions stored therein. In the case of a joint account that's no longer joint -- what happened to the remaining funds in the account? If you no longer have access to them then you should remove them from your books in some appropriate way (taking the account down to zero). The fact that the account remains open is irrelevant if the funds are not yours. > Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. > You can do this by using Reply-To-List or Reply-All. -derek -- Derek Atkins, SB '93 MIT EE, SM '95 MIT Media Laboratory Member, MIT Student Information Processing Board (SIPB) URL: http://web.mit.edu/warlord/ PP-ASEL-IA N1NWH warl...@mit.edu PGP key available _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
