Just to verify, you downloaded the DMG, opened it, and manually copied the
bundle to /Applications?

Try deleting the app bundle from /Applications, download again, and copy
it again?  Maybe something got corrupted?

If that doesn't work, John will wake up in a couple hours and should be
able to help you more.
