Good question. I only got my head around this recently (eg https://github.com/flywire/ETF-Annual-Statement uses ASX:VAS - Vanguard Australian Shares). Entity,Date,Description,Account,Deposit Super,30/06/2018,VAS,Income:Distribution:13U,-3606.42 Super,30/06/2018,VAS,Income:Distribution:13C,-22870.71 Super,30/06/2018,VAS,Income:Distribution:13Q,7069.35 ... Super,30/06/2018,VAS,Asset:Shares:CostBase,-62.21 Super,30/06/2018,VAS,Income:Distribution:Rounding,-0.01 So, I group it to the share holding each year (like investment property depreciation). This would be problematic selling part of a holding. I see you are trying to attach the basis change to each share held as it actually applies. I'll be interested to see the responses, and hopefully a mention in the documentation. . _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
