But if "administrato" is a system administrator, files created (and
possibly written) by that user may not be able to be read by regular users
(assuming "Barry Mahon" is a regular user.  Even if not, there may be
permission issues.

Sign in as "Barry Mahon", navigate to the file under "administrato" and
look at the properties to see what permissions you have.
