I've tried running as root, but that didn't help. I've installed
libcanberra-gtk-module and libcanberra-gtk0 on my base system, but that
doesn't help (probably because Gnucash is installed as a flatpak).
I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 (Linux) using GNUcash 5.5 via Flatpak.
Thanks

Hi Aryeh,
This report is working correctly for me.
This is my setup.
From Help-->About (in GnuCash):
GnuCash Version: 5.5
Build ID: Flathub 5.5
My OS is Xubuntu 22.04.
This is how I installed GnuCash via Flatpak.
I enabled flatpak in the GNOME software center
$ sudo apt install flatpak gnome-software-plugin-flatpak
I enabled the flathub repository
$ flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub
https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
I installed GnuCash via Flatpak using the GNOME software center.
How did you install your Flatpak GnuCash v5.5?
Do you have only one instance of GnuCash (Flatpak only) installed? You
should not have the deb (Ubuntu distro) version installed. If it is,
you need to uninstall it first before installing the flatpak version
(after backing up your data).
The Flatpak package of GnuCash bundles all the necessary libraries.
Regards,
Bruce
