Looks as though you are almost sorted. I have recently upgraded to
Windows 11.
Gnucash Version 5.9 Build ID 5.9+(2024-09-28)
Windows 11Version 24H2 (OS Build 26.100.216 1)
All my reports are blank. When I go to print an invoice the tab that
comes up contains nothing. Have you got this issue?

I am deeply indebted to you. This was the key to my dilemma: "My bank accounts are
under Assets-Current Assets;". I clicked on the Bank Account name under Current
Assets, and there they came.
I believe there is now only one little quibble remaining. I no longer have my
Saved Reports. If you can advise where I can find them I would be even more
ecstatic.
Thank you again to all who have replied.

Given that the file size is okay, it is odd that you are only seeing your expense accounts. What does the
"Accounts" page show? My bank accounts are under Assets-Current Assets; if I right-click and select
"Edit Account", I see that the "Type" is "Bank". Are your bank accounts missing?
Dumb question: Are you sure you opened the account file? On my Mac, the window
title has the name of the open file, and I always use File->Open to open an
account file (but GnuCash defaults to the last one open, it seems, so I rarely
have to do this).
