Fran, If you have memorized reports or favorite window placement settings or certain other features that are not saved in your data file then you need to copy your gnucash user settings separately to the new computer. See https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/FAQ#Q:_I_just_got_a_new_computer._What_should_I_copy_over_from_my_old_one.3F for a start, and if you have additional questions, we are here.
