In addition to checking if you have an End Date scheduled, check if you have it set for a limited number of occurrences. The best choice if you want this to continue is to check the forever option.

If so, choose Actions>Scheduled Transactions>Since Last Run in the menus. The missing transaction should appear. If you have launched Gnucash since July 6 and the transaction is missing, check the Scheduled Transactions editor to see if you accidentally entered an end date for the scheduled transaction.
