Shucks, I'm on Ubuntu myself so not that familiar with the Windows side. >From what I have read on this user list, you need to: 1. Download the latest Windows version from the usual spot. 2. Uninstall your current 5.6 version using Control Panel. 3. Delete the GnuCash folder in the program files folder. That X86 thing on Windows where most programs are installed. 4. Run the installer program downloaded in step 1. Usually you can do just steps 1 and 4. Something in the last couple of releases requires steps 2 and 3 now.
