I may be making my responses in an annoying manner; one at a time.  I
intend to stop doing this.
For this moment, I went to a terminal and typed "tmp/gnucash.trace" and got
"no such file or directory".  But I want to investigate further the NVidia
thing...  if I could use a different driver?  not sure how to do that but
somewhere in this email thread...
