Formula results are not dependent on the endianness of the machine, for the spreadsheet file formats that store both formula and result (XLS, ODS, and I suppose OOXML). They're stored in some known canonical format, typically as 'C' locale text or little-endian doubles. They might depend on hardware etc for specially complex/sensitive calculations.
