Alex, First: is the gnustep-packagers mailing list still live? I've not received anything from it for some time; don't know whether it's dead, or whether something has wrong with my subscription details (but it used to work in the early days) or my mail system?
Second: you asked a little time ago (26th July) about the binary RPMs I'd created. At the time, they weren't suitable for use. I've now built new versions, based on the latest GNUstep, for a standard SuSE 9.1 set-up. They're in: <URL:http://www.rstonehouse.co.uk/extras/gnustep/SuSE_9.1> and the files are: gnustep-make-1.9.2-1suse91.i586.rpm gnustep-base-1.9.2-1suse91.i586.rpm gnustep-gui-0.9.3-1suse91.i586.rpm gnustep-back-0.9.3-1suse91.i586.rpm GWorkspace-0.6.5-3suse91.i586.rpm These are likely to work /only/ for SuSE 9.1, due to library dependencies; also, the init script in gnustep-base is SuSE-specific. I've tested that these install in a GNUstep-less machine and that GWorkspace seems to work OK, but would welcome any problem reports or other feedback. -- Richard Stonehouse
