I'm trying to get started using GNUWin32 and have downloaded a number of GNUWin32
packages from SourceForge. The notes at http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/compile.html
point me to CygWin, Msys and DJGPP in order to get a bash shell.

I do not want to use CygWin, if I did I would not be using GNUWin32. I do not want my
unix root to be a subsection of my Windows disk scope. I have rejected Msys too as I
am informed it uses unix type paths like CygWin. I have downloaded DJGPP but as far as
I can tell there is no shell included.

So I'm left with a number of unix like utilities which run on windows but no way of
running my unix scripts because they wont run through the Windows shell. Without a
decent shell GNUWin32 is of little use.

Can anyone advice me of where to find a unix shell compiled for Win32? I'm really
surprised to find that GNUWin32 does not have one.

Regards,
Neil (J Mackie).
