Thanking you in advance Vincy Quadros President – DKA ---- Press Release DKA invites applications for *Book of the Year Award 2021.* Dalgado Konknni Akademi announces the competition for Book of the Award 2021. The rules and regulations for the same are as under : The book should be written in Roman Konkani and should be of least 150 pages. No age bar for writers and the book should be published during the period 01 Jan. 2020 to 31 Dec. 2021. Books containing matter criticizing any religion, nation, racism etc. will not be considered for the Award. Besides the literature, the involvement of the writer in the Konkani movement/activities will also carry the weightage while selecting the book by the panel of judges appointed by DKA. The award will be in the form of flower bouquet, memento, citation, shawl and a cheque of Rs. 20,000/-. DKA urges the Goan writers to apply with 3 copies of books in person or through post to Dalgado Konknni Akademi, Old Education Dept. Bldg., 2nd Floor, Near Pharmacy College, 18 June Road, Panaji, Goa on or before *07 November, 2022*.
