I put this remark on the “Global Goencars” WhatsApp group with regard to someone’s post informing about the publication of The Goa 1961 book and one reader was so tickled he thought Valmiki should “use this quote on the cover of his next book”.
Here’s my remark; “I’d go so far as to say that if you are a literate Goan, have come across information of a book by Valmiki Faleiro and chose not to buy a copy and read it, you’re a village idiot”.
