Paul Melo e Castro teachesPortuguese and Comparative Literature at the 
University of Glasgow, withresearch interests in the Goan short story and 
literary translation. 

Selma Carvalho is the author of the novellas "Sisterhood of Swans" and "Notes 
on a Marriage," both published by Speaking Tiger, India, and the author of 
three books documenting the Goa presence in colonial East Africa.
