*The Goan* of June 29, 2026 has a write by Sr Lissy Maruthanakuzhy on the
Daughters of St Paul completing 75 years in India (and 62 in Goa, since
1964). The Pauline Sisters were set up in Italy in 1915 "to proclaim the
Gospel using emergent means of social communication".

It adds: "In 1964, we opened the third community in Goa. Bishop Francisco
Rebelo invited us to the Archdiocese of Goa, and we gladly yaccepted to
extend our mission in Goa."

You can find their outlets in Panjim (two, one on 18th Jn Rd, the other at
Prema Building on the Rua de Ourem waterfront) and Mapusa (near the old
Aldona Praca). Besides religious books, I find an occasional Goa title
which isn't often available elsewhere.... Their *Inspirational Quote* and
*Teenager* mags are useful, the latter of course for those in the right
age. I think some sisters might be part of this group too...
