He retired from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, where he was Professor of Physics, in 2018. Between 2011 and 2015, he served as Vice-Chancellor of Hyderabad Central University. *DISCUSSANTS Vivek Monteiro | Parag Parobo | Kaustubh Naik* Vivek Monteiro is Vice-President, Centre of Indian Trade Unions Maharashtra. He has a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, Stony Brook University. Parag Parobo is an Associate Professor in History, D.D. Kosambi School of Social Sciences and Behavioural Studies, Goa University.
