Following the enormous success of the first ever BBC Asian Network Cricket Cup Tournament last year , the event is being held again this year on Friday 5th July.2002. The venue is the Warkwickshire County Cricket Club , the Country s premier indoor cricket centre , Birmingham. United Kingdom This year the event will incorporate large-scale fund-raising for Sports Relief, the one big idea behind Sports Relief is about uniting the world of sport to raise money for young people here in the UK and across the world. As part of the program to raise money for a very worthwhile cause , a really special match has been lined up between Cricket legends and TV / Film Celebrities and there is more ........Nina Wadia and Kulvinder Ghir from Goodness Gracious ME team , and Cricketing greats such as Clive Lloyd , Farouk Engineer and Mustaq Mohamed have confirmed that they will be there too. I will try and keep you informed and share some photographs if they allow me to get close to them !
