In whatever city you live (in North America or Europe, or elsewhere), if there are any DESI media outlets, kindly send us the appropriate information. Newspapers published in English, Punjabi, Tamil, Urdu, Bangla, Gujarati, or any other South Asian language. Kindly send us a list of these. We need to have their e-mail addresses. Also, it would help if you could send us information on: how frequently they are published, the language, what is their mailing address, and phone and fax numbers. The name of the editor would also be useful. But at the very least we need to know the language of the paper, and their e-m address. Also, if there are special radio or tv programs geared to the South Asian community where you live, we would like to have information on them too. The reason is simple. Vast majorities of our people do not have access to the internet. We need to get our messages out to them through the media outlets. In Vancouver, where I live, there are about six-seven Desi newspapers, and quite a few radio programs. Gujarat is not to be forgotten. The perpetrators of the henious crimes there will have to be brought to justice - if not within India, then internationally. To begin with, we need to reach out to the vast majority of our own people. Kindly oblige by a quick response.
