ALL GOA HOME GARDEN COMPETITION Botanical Society of Goa shall organize their annual All Goa Home Garden Competition in the month of February. A competent panel of jury consisting of Landscaper, Horticulturist and Botanist shall visits the gardens after due intimation, in the last week of February and award prizes and certificates to best judged gardens, Besides categorizing in professionally and personally maintained gardens, the criteria of judgement will be on layouts-hard/soft landscape, vistas, type and health of plants and garden management. Weightage will be given for kitchen garden, productivity of fruity bearing trees and recycling garden/kitchen waste through compost pits. For the plant enthusiast residing in buildings, there will also be a special category for their terrace/balcony gardens.
