My schoolmate and quiz-team fellow member Pascal Pinto, an oral surgeon now with a whole list of titles behind his name, has done a whole lot in a short time. Still in his thirties, Pinto has undergone higher education in the UK, worked there, taught at KLES (the fast-growing hospital in Belgaum which is attracting a whole lot of patients from a Goa where the health infrastructure has been collapsing in recent years)... Now, Dr Pinto and his wife Dr Sherryl L Colaco Pinto, have set up their multidisciplinary dental and implant clinic at the Kamat Towers-Pato Plaza locality in Panjim. Here's wishing them all the best. For old boys of Brittos, Dr Pinto (from Parra) was one of those Africa-returned Goans who passed out in the early 'eighties.
