        issues, G Karunakar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- to visit
the 'Paradise LUG' chapter in Goa later this week --
informs us that IndLinux Milan CD 0.7-2 alpha has been
released. Some time back the final release notes were yet to be up.
But, says he, you can track the release notes at

Good news! G Karunakar confirms that he will be in Goa this weekend. He

Subject: Indianisation of Computing: The Tech Stuff

For those interested in Konkani (or work in any other small
language) [EMAIL PROTECTED] recently mentioned:

The starting point for translation is to start with the gnome
glossary, its a collection of most commonly occuring tech terms,
which are used a lot in translations. Work becomes easy if you
have this done first, then po files can be taken up.

You can get the glossary files at
        http://www.indlinux.org/downloads/gnomegloss/

Also announce on the gnome-i18n list (see
        http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gtp/)

Also read a rough howto on doing translations at
        http://www.indlinux.org/hindi/gnome/howto.txt

One of Karunakar's preferred quotes:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A reasonable man adapts himself to the world
An unreasonable man tries to adapt the world to himself
So all progress in the world depends on the unreasonable man - GB Shaw
