Neal, What a good question on "popular opinion" from you. I had never thought of one like it even though I was aware of Hindu caste residues among the Sikhs and Muslims. I do hope a reply to your question will be forthcoming on Goanet. I'd like to know the answer myself. Cheers, Cornel
