I don't know if it happens in other parts of the
world, but some suppliers in this part of the world
"sell" an added insurance policy on new tyres that
they sell at a cost of $5.00 per tyre (tyres usually
cost upwards of $80.00 each for good brands, depending
on the brand/quality/size). Tyres that get punctured
are repaired free, and any that get damaged beyond
repair get replaced free as well.
