All,

I have not been on Goanet since inception, but the statements below must be the 
most blatant
bigotry expressed on this forum. Are we to ban crucifixes, crosses?  How about 
all the "external
trappings" witnessed at the funeral of the Pope?  How about banning the 
priest's vestments?  The
wearing of a cassock in public? Ban bishops's rings too?  Etc.

It is apparent religious fundamentalism has affected modern Christianity.
