Hey Joe,

You are wrong! I labeled Cynthia's copied and pasted
material as an urban legend, not a chain letter.

I posted my email to Goanet only once. I cced that
email to some people with whom I was discussing the
issue of urban legends, when your post arrived in my
trash box. Most of the individuals to whom I cced my
response, subscribe to the digest version of Goanet.
In fact, they thanked me for sending them an advance
copy of my post.

I hope you realize that, according to the above
dictionary meaning, my cced email is not a chain
letter because, as it clearly states, I did NOT
include in my post "a request that each send copies of
the letter to an equal number of persons."

As I said above, Cynthia's copied and pasted post was
an urban legend. That is what I called it, not a chain
letter.

No. Why do you ask?

Who is the author of the subject email? Was that email
of yours copied and pasted material as well? If so,
please send me the email address of the person from
whom you copied it. I would be happy to email my post
to him/her, if he/she is interested.

No, it was not an unintentional slip. Please don't
believe anything that is not true. Most people on that
cc list have thanked me for giving them advance notice
because they subscribe to the digest version of
Goanet, and do not read every post.

No, I don't understand that. What are the biases and
prejudices in this context. What have you done to
fight biases and prejudices?

Cheers,

Santosh
