Hello Goanetters Wonder whats wrong with our governments. Are they there only to take us Goans for a ride? Everything that is planned is only planned to pocket money. Some years back I had read that Miramar will be having an Aquarium of world class. It never happened, than the konkan railway with all trials failed with their plans to have local transport for Goa. Now its again in news with monorail. Than the IFFI turned out to be a fiasco, with Panjim people suffering the aftermath of IFFI, no proper planning, and there is no news of the investigations on what happened to all the taxpayers money. As usual our Goans don’t care. And now this. Wonder what the real plans are. The past government was also planning to have a massive library near Kadamba bus stop, which made me very happy, and I had even said something good about Parrekar on this subject. Another dream plan. Goans beware Cheers Jerry Fernandes STATE CRUISING TOWARDS CRUISE TERMINALS PANJIM, Sept 21: The State government intends to set up cruise terminals at various places in Goa including one at the Aguada Bay, apparently to expand its tourism potential. For this purpose, the State government through the Department of Captain of Ports, has issued Global Expression of Interest for setting up cruise terminals in the State. Setting up of cruise terminals will bring in construction or extension of the existing jetty, construction of break waters, mooring dolphins, marina, water sports, etc. (H)
