Just in case it has escaped your attention, BILL CLINTON, as an NGO, is in
India to discuss with the Indian Prime Minister about the unfortunate spread
of diseases like HIV/AIDS, BIRD FLU, MALARIA, etc., in India and throughout
the rest of the woirld. Bill, who is rendering sterling sevice to humanity,
is worried abouit these diseases. He will next be attending an International
Conference on world ills in GOA.
As far as HIV/AIDS is concerned, it is spreading like wild fire in India --
India has 5 million affected by HIV/AIDS and is second only to South Africa in
this regard.
Bird flu has been found in Maharastha State where a quarter million domestic
birds are being culled.
Malaria had been eradicated from India but has again raised its ugly head in
that country. Let's hope that Goa, which borders India, will escape its
onslaught.
