Nothin to wonder...cooks n maids from Karwar have been working in
Goan homes/churches for years now....Recent trend shows..maids from UP
working in Goan houses...
Goan cooks get better pay on Ships n in the gulf....not even the starred
hotels in Goa...they only work in Goan hotels to gain experience...

A news paper clipping says....

"A complaint of theft has been registered at the Colva police station.
According to the complainant, Fr Diogo Fernandes, the parish priest of Our
Lady of Merces church, Colva, on 16 April at around 9.45 pm he caught his
cook, Ronnie Miranda, entering his room with the help of a torchlight and
commiting theft of Rs.4,340, the amount being of the Easter Sunday mass
collection that was kept in the room. (GT)"

The clipping does not say..if the theft was commited first time..or if he
was warned earlier...and lastly the last line of the clipping says it all.
