Dear Mr Kamat,

Although I agree with you that there is a tendency for
political dynasties in India, I strongly resent the
Nehru family being cited as an example and no other
context provided. Please bear in mind that this family
has split their blood for India and if the Indian in
the village, the Indian in the slum, the India in the
factory wishes to believe that this family has their
best interests at heart, then more power to them. 

Afterall, the last time I checked India was a
democratic country and elections are held to elect our
representations. If you are citing the Nehrus as an
example of political dynastic rule then put things in
their proper perspective and give us reasons as to why
they have remained in power over the decades otherwise
your article speaks of nothing more than your own
biases.
