the like. National parties woo them because of their vote banks. Its the
Stars who command a huge following.Also in Indian movies which generally
show violence, revenge, lovable/glorified cheats,crooks and scamsters.Like
the latest blockbuster Dhoom 2. No intelligence required. Glamour and
sensation/entertainment, and everything else is overlooked. In fact the
illegalities and scams provide the wherewithal to keep voters happy.Give
them a TV set,motor bike/cycle, biryani, liquor, promises specially of
condoning illegalities, grant small favours..........Sure vote!
