"Cut Politicians politically - New Mantra for 2007"
On the concluding day of NRI convention Governor Jamir appealed to
authorities in Goa to "Refrain from ideas of developing Goa on lines of
Singapore and Dubai. He also appealed to preserve Goa's unique identity"
While, Chief Minister Rane emphasized from secretariat saying "My government
is committed to maintain the Forests and Tree-covers of Goa & for strict
obedience to CRZ. All violations to these rules would be dealt with very
sternly." Both the appeals are questionable and more surprising because they
are aired only after realizing the mass unrest taken place in Goa on account
of notified Regional Plan 2011 (RP).
Instead of just speaking why is our CM not seen in action? This is what
every Goan asks other fellow Goa. Rane why don't you go round Goa with your
"Watchful Eyes" wide open! Get you convinced about massive violations of all
the rules and regulations going on in Goa under cover of RP? Or at least
have a look on those "Violations" which have been already brought to your
attention by different Goans; Goa Bachav Abheyan (GBA) and other NGOs. Why
are you not initiating actions, on the persons involved in violations of
rules and regulations? To the best of our knowkedge you have to initiate
actions first only on two Monster Giants - one is who is dreaming of
becoming Chief Minister on his own muscle and money power and the second is
the one who caries your GENE. These two are the mega giants involved in mega
deals and massive destructions in Goa! When you cannot control just two of
these persons, Goans wonder how you will control that "Alibaba" enjoying his
retirement at Dona Paula at the cost of Goans & those 40 "Chores (MLAs)"?
Why don't you admit to Goans that your hands are tide to take any such
actions? Mr. CM you proved it time and again that it's "Not your Cup of Tea
anymore" you must step down - this is the truth, this is the reality and you
must admit it.
At least this year we Goans have fully understood your limitations for not
initiating any actions on violations that are going on! This year, most
Goans have therefore decided to felicitate you and honor you with two titles
"The Paper Tiger of year 2007" & "Representative of Three Monkeys"
Considering all the things going on under Rane's rule "Cut Politicians
politically" - a great thinking logic shared with me by one Goan erudite
professor - is too apt a philosophy to be adopted by all Goans OR else Goans
will have to see Singapore and Dubai in Goa achieved with massive violations
of all the rules and regulations and creating irreparable ecological
imbalance.
