CBI conducted raids against Isidore, when he defected from the Congress.
Once he rejoined the Congress Party, the case seems to have disappeared
into thin air! As I said in my original posting, there were rumours that
Digamber Kamat was threatened with CBI raids if he did not join the Congress
Party.
As for Babush, there are rumours that he and Churchill are ready to bolt and
form
a third front, grounds enough for "intimidation and intervention" by the
CBI!

Recently the CBI and its courts absolved Laloo Prasad Yadav in the fodder
case!!
CBI tends to be conveniently 'used' by the party in power at the Centre, to
serve its
political needs!
