I am not sure that Eugene Correia is accurate when he states that "Jose Vaz is 
a Brahmin". Even taking into account the typo related to 'is' vs 'was', is 
there any verifiable evidence that Jose Vaz practised the caste system or even 
wore the 'Brahmin' label on his forehead?

I also find it difficult to accept that the practice of caste is a cardinal sin 
(whatever that means). The term 'sin' is commonly applicable to Christians. 
Those who practice the caste system could not be Christians.
